This is Cleto and he came from the Cozumel pound in Mexico. Cleto was on the streets when he was around 6 months old, he was wandering when a car almost hit him and then he got scared and fled up a tree. He stayed up there for a really long time before he was rescued and brought to the pound. Cleto was in the pound for so long and he was so streesed that he was loosing all his fur, it was just falling out in clumps and that is why we decided to help this boy out. He is doing so good and is getting along iwth the cats, dogs and kids. He is soo happy now that he has a chance at finding a forever family. She almost died but with good veterinary volunteers they brought her back and now she is in tip top shape and you would have never know she was almost near death. Frappucino must have been out in the cold for quite a while because her ears are really frost bitten and are going to fall off. I am Josephina and I came into care from Cozumel Island where I was dumped at the pound because my owner was too poor to care for me. He really wanted me back and was a reallly nice man but he never ended up finding a steady job. I sat in the pound for over a year and then it was time to put to sleep. I was just getting ready when the next thing I new I was in a kennel and then on a plane to WHARF. This is Jorda and she was rescued from the Cozumel Pound in Mexico. Jorda came into the pound with a broken Tibia, she recieved surgery down there and had a pin placed in her fracture. She is now in the process of healing and is doing great on her leg. When we got her we x-rayed her and everything is healing great. She will always have a mechanical lameness because the break was so bad. Jorda is very sweet and loves living indoors where she gets spoiled rotten. Meet Lopez! He came from the Cozumel pound in Mexico. Lopez was dumped at the pound when he was just 10 days old and that was all te way back in May of 2010. Lopez was there for almost 2 years. We really wanted to get this boy out of there and help him find his forever family. Lopez is a great sweet boy that loves his pets, he will chase you and cut you off just so you will pet him. This is Manchas and she came all the way from Cozumel Mexico where she was abandoned outside the pound when hse was a kitten. She then sat in the pound for over a year waiting for someone to adopt her but no one did. We wanted to help give this girl a home so we flew her up here. She was so kennel crazy in the cattery at the pound that she was pulling her own fur out, it has already started to grow back now that she is in a home. Manchas is such a mellow girl, she just flops everywhere and anywhere so that someone will pet her. She does like her playtime but not as much as she enjoys her pets and snuggles. This amazing gentle boy is Stewie and he came into care with Mr.F. They were personal surrenders from a lady that loved them very much and cared for them dearly but could no longer keep them. Stewie is a very loving boy that follows you around everywhere. He loves pets and snuggles and will go anywhere you are. Stewie is a DIABETIC and needs injections twice a day. He is such a strong boy and takes his needles like a champ every morning and every night. This is Telmex and he was dumped on teh side of the road in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The lady just left him there iwth a broken leg and took off, porr guy couldn't walk at all. A kind lady picked him up and brought him to Cooc's Cat Rescue where they proceeded to help him. Telmex came here but he still needs his pin removed but that is very soon and then he will be all ready to go. Telmex is quite the little rascal and you wouldn't even know that he has a pin in his leg, he loves to climb and jump all over the place. He is super affectioante and really snuggly.
